Telecommunications Technician

Seeking prospective installers/technicians for Foxtel, FTA, Broadband in the Toowoomba/Western Downs area.

We are looking for experienced and entry level applicants.

Applicants are required to undergo a national police check, must have a Drivers licence and have/or be willing to obtain a Construction Induction (white) card, working at heights plus first aid and CPR certificates. Training for these can be provided to accepted applicants. ACMA Registered Cabling Licence (Open) is prefered or a willingness to acquire.

About the Role

The position is for fulltime work, approximately 38hour week.

A work vehicle, specialised tools, tablet and training will be provided to successful applicants. Applicants with own van and tools are welcome to apply.

Highly regarded applicants should have one or more of the following:

- Handyman/experience with power tools
- Technical background in the telecommunications industry
- Antenna, alarm, any previous customer premises cabling
- Customer service

And possess the following:

- Effective communication
- Committed to high level of workmanship, customer service and workplace safety
- Willing to learn and continuously improve
- Organised, systematic and self-motivated
- Ability to work unsupervised

Salary is negotiated on experienced and linked to performance. We pay our technicians a salary and monthly bonus based on work volumes/revenue.

Foxtel Premium HD subscription included as part of salary.

**Salary**: $46,498.32 - $94,314.97 per year
