Assist in the maintenance and construction/installation of trackside Systems equipment and systems, and proactively seek the skills and knowledge require to excel in your chosen trade.
- Assist with the maintenance and construction/installation of Trackside Systems equipment and systems.
- Participate in the maintenance and construction/installation work programs that are developed in accordance with business needs.
- Maintain records relating to asset condition, maintenance programs and costing systems.

Here's just some of what you could be working on:
- Kuranda Range (Cairns) stabilisation project - there will be helicopter usage to access remote sections of track
- Central West line bridge replacement program replacing 16 bridges and repairing 44.
- Portsmith (Cairns) level crossing upgrade. This is part of a broader program of work consisting of 18 level crossing upgrades across the Regional business
- Townsville to Cairns Track Renewal
- Yamba track lowering & formation strengthening
