**The Traineeship**

We currently have a newly created 12-month Individual Disability Support traineeship opportunity based in Gympie. You will have the chance to work with one of the largest disability service providers in Australia whilst completing a Certificate 3 Individual Support. The team you will be working with are very supportive and enthusiastic. They will be able to guide you and provide you with a wealth of knowledge along the way.

In this Traineeship you will learn how to provide support in our Learning & Lifestyle Centre; assisting activities designed to help the people we support to develop practical life skills and to identify their goals for daily living, community participation, learning and building relationships - and of course most importantly having fun Some of our activities include cooking, arts and crafts, connecting with nature and sports.

**What will you bring to the role?**

Our team will help you develop during the traineeship, but there are some minimum requirements and key traits we’re looking for:

- An aspiration to work in rewarding Disability Support Work
- An eye for detail with the ability to follow directions well
- Blue Card and NDIS worker screening check is required (we will reimburse)
- You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tasks that can change from day to day as you increase your knowledge and learn new systems.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday
- min 35 hours a week
- Provide two references
