**About Us**:
HelpAlong is a dedicated provider of disability support services, committed to empowering individuals and fostering independence in Gympie.

**The Role**:
We are seeking passionate female Disability Support Workers who are self-motivated to provide exceptional support to individuals living with ASD in Supported Independant Living (SIL) and private homes in the Gympie area.

Available shifts include:

- Morning shifts 9am-5pm
- Afternoon shifts 5pm-9pm, inactive sleepover, 6am-9am

**What to expect**:

- Assist with personal care - showering, grooming, dressing
- Support with cooking and meal management
- Assist with domestic tasks and cleaning
- Provide transportation for appointments and community access
- Implement positive behavior support strategies
- Encourage skill development and independence
- Offer companionship and social support

**Ideally, you will have**:

- 12 months experience as a Disability Support Worker
- Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care or similar
- Be located in the Gympie, Sunshine Coast area
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with participants
- Positive Behaviour Support and Restrictive Practice experience (highly regarded)
- Complex Behaviour Support (highly regarded)
- Experience working with people with ASD (highly regarded)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- NDIS Screening Check (yellow card)
- Working with Children Check (blue card)
- Recent Police check
- Driver's license and own vehicle
- Right to work in Australia

Pay: $33.00 - $84.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
