**You will oversee the Procurement Strategy**
- Create, implement, and maintain cost efficiencies, drives product innovation and ensures supplier performance in line with the goals of the Company.
- Strengthen and grow the Company profit margin through negotiations while ensuring ongoing competitive pricing for the business.
- Conduct proactive reviews of existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
- Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with the relevant laws and requirements within the delegated areas of authority, so that appropriate approvals have been provided prior to issuing the purchase order or receiving goods or services.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reporting relating to procurement functions for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Operations Network to provide strategic insights.
- Execute and manage any Procurement projects as required to drive innovative practices and partnerships. Supply Chain Efficiencies
- Oversee the performance of suppliers, ensuring quality of products in line with contracted requirements, liaising with relevant Suppliers on any issues and providing timely communication updates to the relevant stakeholders or network
- Oversee the supply chain systems and platforms that track shipments, delivery and supply of goods to MDKL networks, supporting the internal and external teams on any major disruptions and providing timely communication to the affected stakeholders or network.
- Ensure that all supplies or services are delivered in line with communicated timelines, even if the first-choice provider is unable to fulfill contracted obligations.
- Build and manage strong, professional partnerships with all vendors and suppliers to ensure effect

You must have the relevant Industry and leadership experience together with
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or business as a minimum.
- At least 10 years' managing supply chain operations and supply chain teams.
- At least 10 years' experience in procurement departments.
- Prior experience of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate and build partnerships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Price analysis.
- Project Management
