The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Allied Health - Professional Development Coordinator (Evolve Therapeutic Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia
You will
- Develop, coordinate, facilitate, implement and evaluate a specialist professional development, training and clinical supervision program for the Evolve Therapeutic Services Gold Coast team
- Provide clinical practice supervision to clinicians and students to ensure the maintenance of clinical standards
- Participate in and contribute to the activities of a state wide training / professional development network

About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- A tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech Pathology
- AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapist and Psychologist only)
- Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers or Speech Pathology Australia
- Driver Licence
- Blue card / Working with children check (GCH will cover cost)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary part time (up to 14 July 2025, with the possibility of extension, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
- Base salary ranging from $66.85 - $72.58 per hour

Evolve Therapeutic Services, Gold Coast, is a multi-disciplinary, multi-specialist team within the Gold Coast Child and Youth Mental Health Services operating across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. Evolve Therapeutic Services provides multi-specialist mental health intervention to children and young people (0-18 years) in the care of Child Safety with extreme and complex therapeutic and behaviour support needs.
