**General Summary**:
The Partner Development Manager - Security, is a high-volume sales role cross-selling Security Products and maintaining the post-sale relationship with our existing Partners (Customers). This role will play a key role expanding ConnectWise's revenue in the partner base by managing the entire sales cycle. Also, will maintain the post-sale relationship with our partners by maintaining regular proactive contact and acts as the ambassador of the companies to the partner.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Achieve your annual sales goal (annual contract value)
- Sell Security products to our existing Partner base by prospecting into an assigned account list and working leads that are qualified by marketing and the business development team
- Management and support of a pre-defined list of accounts
- Maintain regular contact with several contacts at each Partner, learning more about Partner's objectives, struggles and growth projections
- Must have an intimate understanding of the Partner's organization, structure, and processes of several teams
- Generate a pipeline of qualified Partner opportunities sufficient to exceed annual sales goals
- Receives leads from Business Development Reps and Account Managers
- Make 40-50 outbound calls/day
- Prospecting list will be provided to you by the company
- Qualify prospective accounts to build and maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve annual sales goals, set quarterly
- Negotiate opportunities terms, discounts, implementation
- Sales Manager provides final approval on discounts (if exceeds threshold)
- Close sales that meet the ConnectWise standards for pricing, margins, terms and conditions
- Average size of transaction: $8K annual/sale
- Average # of sales: 120 transactions/year
- Avg. length of sales cycle: 20-30 day

- Exceptional time management skills required
- Ability to multi-task and flexibility work in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales process, including negotiating sales opportunities to closure, through a deep understanding of a prospective customer buying process
- Proven sales track record of success and ability to identify opportunities and leverage internal & external resources appropriately

**Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations**:
- 3+ years of demonstrated success with solutions-based selling and exceeding quota
- Experience in relevant channels:
- Cybersecurity
- Managed Service Providers (MSP)
- Value-Added Resellers (VAR)
- Office Equipment (OE)
- Technology Service Providers (TSP)
- Internal IT
**Working Conditions**:
- Location: Sydney, Australia
- Travel: once a month travel (10%-20%)
