About the role
Permanent and Temporary opportunities to provide specialised expertise, management skills and services for the Medicine Stream, including leading, planning, implementing and reviewing initiatives that support improvement and collaboration across Metro North Health and its partners.
This role will facilitate and coordinate staff to ensure processes, data systems and reporting support innovation, compliance and sustainable delivery of services and projects.
About you
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Support the Executive Director, HEI and the Program Director of the Medicine Stream in integrating the strategic direction and priorities of the Medicine Services with its associated programs, portfolios and facility departments.
- Develop effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the development, and implementation of clinical protocols, pathway, guidelines, polices, and procedures, and to achieve the KPIs within Medicine Stream.
