**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Join a Regional Council as a Development Planner. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, Work From Home days, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension. This Council offers flexibility in working arrangements including accommodation.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

**DUTIES.**
- Negotiate and liaise with developers and staff as required
- Enforce conditions of development consent and comply with statutory requirements
- Prepare Council reports in accordance with relevant deadlines for Council Business Papers

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.**
- Degree in Planning or other relevant qualifications
- Prior experience within the planning industry, ideally within Local Government
- Strong written, negotiation and verbal communication skills
- Great understanding of the EPA, LGA 1993 and other relevant legislations
