**Description**:
Reporting to Corporate Communications Manager, (based in Melbourne), the Corporate Communications Officer is responsible for executing communication plans in line with Housing Choices Australia’s business strategy.

This role joins a dedicated, centralised and fast-paced Internal Communications team. It is a proactive role requiring the delivery of content across a multitude of internal channels, including the intranet, monthly and weekly staff updates, resident publications and platforms, staff events, virtual events and other opportunities to enhance positive engagement within our team by connecting our staff and residents across HCA.

Advising and partnering with divisions in our organisation sees you help bring to life the ways we are delivering on our future strategy and vision including major business transformation projects and, at the same time, bring your expertise to our team to focus on uplifting our communications channels to reflect our culture and best practice.

**Skills and Experiences**:
We’re searching for a passionate and driven communication professional who’ll develop and implement a strategic and innovative internal communications strategy.
- You will be a self-starter with a passion for engaging employees through communications. In addition to formal qualifications in communications, journalism or related background, you’ll have deomstrated experience developing and implementing strategic internal corporate communications utilising a variety of channels.
- You’ll be able to draw upon your experience in change management communication, a strong sense of cultural awareness, strategic thinking and an ability to provide a consistent message that supports change.
