The Tax Technology Analyst will report to the Senior Global Indirect Tax Technology Manager and will be responsible for both indirect and direct tax technology for Asia and ANZ.

Main responsibilities include leading the Vertex O International implementation and assisting with the development, management, maintenance, and testing of the tax systems at AECOM.

This position will support tax technology throughout AECOM by identifying and implementing new technology and/or process improvements to drive compliance and savings along with ensuring tax team members are properly trained.

**What will a day in this role look like**:

- Lead Tax Engine and Tax Compliance implementations, maintenance and documentation of the indirect tax automation and reporting process tools (Vertex O, VITR, SAF-T, Real Time Reporting, e-invoicing etc)
- Assess, document, and improve processes and data flows
- Drive data analytics tools (Alteryx, Power BI) to increase efficiency for tax activities, including designing and developing Alteryx workflows and providing Alteryx training across AECOM

**Qualifications**

**What are we looking for from you?**
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- 3-5+ years tax experience with an emphasis on indirect tax technology
- Vertex O or other Tax Engine Certification
- Experience working with various Indirect Tax Technologies (Tax Engine, Tax Compliance Software)
- Experience working with various Direct Tax Technologies (OneSource, Hyperion, Forte)
