A leading government agency is seeking a Project Coordinator to be part of a digital transformation project for a 6 month contract. Needing an individual who has experience with detailed forecasting, reporting and identifying gaps in financials to drive the project forward. Experience dealing with high level stakeholders is required. 3 days in the office per week and the rest WFH.

**To be considered for this position essential requirements include**:

- Proven experience working for a large, complex government agency
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders
- Interacting and building rapport with internal and external project stakeholders at all levels, to achieve program objectives, resolve issues, foster collaborative working relationships, hastening these parties as required on timely and quality completion of project related tasks;
- Tracking and reporting of project performance against scope, milestones, deliverables, schedules, benefits and budgets (forecasted and actuals);
- In collaboration with the PMO Lead/Senior Change Manager, other team members, developing and maintaining documentation and data pivotal to the effective management of each project, including schedules, plans, risks/issue logs, cost estimates and status reports, in line with relevant artefact templates and standards;
- Initiating the follow up of outstanding actions with a relevant parties in a timely manner to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope and budget;
- Identifying and escalating problems or issues that have the potential to impact the success of projects as required. Formulating and executing timely solutions in response and in collaboration with the PMO Lead/Senior Change Manager;
**Key requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications of Project Management Methodologies (PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile) and/or experience in project planning, coordination and implementation activities for large/ complex projects.
- Development and maintenance of project documentation, plans and reports, ensuring timely updates and contributions to the risk/issues registers, schedule updates and financial updates
- Excellent computing skills, namely in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
