Receptionist

**About the Position**

As a receptionist you will act as an information resource and ambassador to patients, the general public, physicians and staff. This position represents who we are to the outside world and sets the tone, the pace and the mood for the clinic on a daily basis.

Your demeanor and attitude on the phone and on site at the clinic will have a great impact on everyone around you. You will be interacting with patients, referrers, our team members, the laundry guy, the IT guy, the bookkeeper etc. This is a vital role to run our clinic smoothly and efficiently, therefore we need you to be effortlessly on the ball. We would like you to show initiative such as coming up with new ideas to elevate our daily / weekly/ monthly procedures to the next level and be confident and capable with all tasks thrown at you. No matter what the day brings, you will need to remain patient, friendly and professional.

**What we are looking for**
- 2+ years’ experience in medical office management or similar
- Excellent multitasking and organisational skills
- Good knowledge of medical terminology
- Medical office billing experience
- Some level of flexibility with working hours

**Qualifications and experience**
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to confidently liaise with key stakeholders including doctors and other health professionals

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Manage daily procedures to ensure optimal operation of the practice
- Assist to organise regular staff meetings
- Assisting clinicians to perform their duties seamlessly
