**Description**

**Job Description - Early Years Educator (Kindergarten Teacher)**:

- Kids Haven Childcare, Campbellfield_

Kids Haven Childcare is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team as a Kindergarten Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality, play-based kindergarten program for 4-year-old children in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). You will create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports each child's development and school readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observing and documenting children’s progress and contributing to individual learning plans.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and health and safety guidelines.
- Working collaboratively with a team of educators to foster a warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive environment.

**Qualifications**
- **Bachelor of Early Childhood Education** (or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification)
- **Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration** - Full or provisional
- **Current First Aid Certificate** - Including:

- HLTAID012 - Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- **Working with Children Check (WWCC)** - If not included with VIT
- **Child Protection Training** - Certificate in Identifying and Responding to Children and Young People at Risk
- **Right to Work in Australia** - Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid working visa
- **Experience in using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)** and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- **Proficiency in documenting children’s learning and development** (e.g., using platforms like Xplor or Storypark)
