**Your career in detail**

As part of our commitment to developing and servicing our clients across Australia, we are seeking a highly motived person as our next Civil Engineering Team Leader to join the Resource Engineering group in our Perth office. The team you will join is a technical leader in the Mining and Energy sectors, with unparalleled access to industry shaping projects due to the diversity of GHD and our panel contracts with Tier 1 client organisations.

**In order to be successful in this role you will have**:

- Bachelor of Civil Engineering (minimum) with a qualification or CPEng in Project Management highly regarded
- Proven technical experience in Civil design - Roads, Drainage, Earthworks, Services/Piping
- Solid networks and client contacts in the mining marketplace
- Hands on experience in the preparation of successful engineering bids and proposals within the West Australian mining industry
- Strong commercial awareness and management ability to deliver successful project outcomes; this will include track record for delivering multiple medium sized brownfield projects simultaneously on-time and to budget
- Ability to maintain and build a work stream for the team with a view to growing the size and capability of the group.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills combined with a focus on client service as well as internal and external working relationships and networking skills
- Track record in leadership, engineering management, and successful delivery of multi-disciplined engineering and drafting teams
- Leadership skills with desire and understanding to mentor and develop young professionals and graduates
- Influence a strong safety culture with a record of safe work practices for the delivery of design and brownfield project implementation
- Assist the Resource Engineering Group to develop, and drive GHD's mining and resources strategy, business ethics and values to the staff within the group.
