**The Role**:
The Telecommunications Rigger performs rigging activities to maintain and upgrade mobile network infrastructure, in line with State Operations Manager and Client's requirements. This includes telecom and non-telecom functions such as fixed and mobile, as well as support infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**
- Electro/Mechanical & Site maintenance
- Reactive/Corrective maintenance
- Estimate weight/size of objects to be moved
- Erect jib/derrick and install cables/pulleys
- Choose/make slinging equipment
- Temporary fixes for Site infrastructure
- Test/repair external alarms/lights/fuses/AC systems
- Preventive maintenance
- Organise/maintain/refuel generators
- Connect temporary generator to site
- Maintain Site Folders
- Report on faults/fixes of site support systems
- Spare Part Management
- Meet WHS safety requirements
- After Hours Support/On-Call
- 3+ years’ experience in construction steel fixing rigging
- Telecom rigging experience of 2G, 3G, 4G or 5G mobile network infrastructure. (preferred)
- Operations fault finding experience an advantage.
- MUST have Australian Permit to work, Permanent Resident or Citizen
- Familiar with installation standards or have strong Rigging background in telecommunications.
- Experience with Sweep Testing and ‘Distance to Fault’ fault finding.
- Ability to analyze/diagnose and deliver corrective actions.
- Physically and medically capable of climbing towers up to 100 meters
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Experienced in fault finding RTWP/MIMO/VSWR issues (advantage)

**Certificates required**
- Rigger/Dogman
- Working at Heights, Tower Rescue
- White Card, First Aid and CPR
- RF Hazard Awareness
