The role
In addition, you will support the development and modernisation of frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure the efficient delivery of internal communications. This role requires providing expert advice and strategic analysis to business units, assisting in both planned and unplanned internal communication projects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Strategic Engagement team. You will be expected to maintain a solid understanding of human resource and financial management processes, contribute to crisis response communications, and support the positive development of team and organisational culture. Flexibility in working locations and participation in an on-call roster may be required, with a commitment to upholding the values of the Queensland Public Service and Department of Health.
The successful person
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in delivering significant or complex communication, media or engagement projects within agreed budgets and timeframes. You will also have demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership and build and maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In addition to this, you will have demonstrated project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and manage the delivery of numerous competing priorities, and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a communication and/or project management context.
