**The Role**
The ACT team work within a nationally dispersed team, under the direction of the Assistant Director Regional Engagement to meet future Defence capability needs.

The Regional Engagement Manager is accountable under limited direction to perform duties such as:

- Work collaboratively in a team based environment, operating as an effective team member, building and sustaining relationships with team members and stakeholders, and actively participating in team work and group activities.
- Schedule and conduct stakeholder engagement activities to meet Defence objectives under the direction of the Assistant Director Regional Engagement.
- Develop and execute Relationship Management Plans to support targeted liaison and engagement with important stakeholders to enhance access to in-demand capabilities.
- Meet the requirements of National Office for the submission of reports and returns including governance, administration, finance and measurement of outcomes of engagement activities and events.
- Complete complex procedural, operational, administrative and business support work, including managing travel requirements and financial acquittals.
- Management of APS staff within ACT Regional Engagement team.
- Additional tasking as directed by the Assistant Director Regional Engagement.
