Hudson is helping the **Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications** source for an **APS5 or APS6 Team Member** that can work for the Investment Strategy & Policy Section for an **initial period of 6** **months**. This job role can be offered as Labour Hire, Non-Ongoing, or section 26 transfer - the choice is yours A **Baseline **clearance is essential for this position.

**The Opportunity**

You will be undertaking high quality and timely briefing, supporting policy development, assisting with Budget preparations, engaging with stakeholders and research and analysis tasks.

This work will require strong communication and decision making with a high level of impact on the functions across the Department and the potential to impact more broadly on agency operations externally.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the capability to work effectively as a member of the team with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet challenging deadlines. Attention to detail is a must, as well as the ability to quickly identify key issues and work with colleagues to support the delivery of quality and timely advice.

**Skills Needed**
- highly developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal and time management skills;
- ability to think strategically, carry out robust research and analysis and exercise judgement;
- ability to assess the impact of changes in Government policy and initiate and contribute to appropriate responses;
- ability to build and maintain productive working relationships, including the ability to collaborate and work across a number of teams.
