**Our Family**:
- We are a family located in Paddington, Brisbane, with a gorgeous 14-month-old son and a new baby due at the end of July. We're excited to welcome someone who loves working with young children and is eager to help our family settle during this busy but exciting period.
**Your Duties**:
- Personality: We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also enthusiastic about the joys and challenges of caring for young children. You should be energetic and excited about being involved in our children's growth and development. References and Background: We require references from past employers to ensure the right fit for our family.
**Our Perfect Caregiver**:
- Experience: Must have relevant experience in caring for very young children, with a genuine interest in their developmental milestones. Availability: Full-time (8 am - 5 pm) for 3 days a week, with some flexibility to meet our family's needs. Duties: Your primary role will be to care for our 14-month-old son during the transition to a family of four. After the new baby turns 6 months (end of year), the duties will include looking after the 2 children during this time. Develop and implement a fun and engaging schedule of activities, including outings to the park, swimming lessons, library visits, and trips to the zoo. Support the family with household chores, such as cooking (mainly for the children during the day and batch cooking for the family at night), laundry, and general tidying up, as time allows. Location: The primary work will be based in Paddington, with activities occurring in the surrounding area. We will collaborate with you to create a schedule that benefits all. Compensation: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. Trial Period: We'd like to start with a trial period to ensure mutual happiness with the arrangement. Timing: With the new baby expected at the end of July, we ideally want to begin the trial in early June to help our 1-year-old settle in with you.
