**About the role**:
Due to recent and future growth there is a rare opportunity to join our high performing, happy and harmonious Property Team, which has a passion for delivering optimal property outcomes for stakeholders.

Reporting to Head of Asset Management, this management position has responsibility for planning and executing a wide and diverse array of essential capital projects across the growing NSW & ACT property portfolio.

Working closely with the Property Portfolio Managers, Operations & Facilities Manager and other Capital Works Managers, you will ensure optimal delivery of all capital works, planned maintenance and renovation projects within budget and on time.

BaptistCare’s significant and growing property portfolio includes 4000 beds/units over 80 locations in retirement villages, residential aged care homes and social/affordable housing, as well as offices and community-based locations throughout NSW and ACT.

**About you**:
To be considered, you will have:

- Trade or Building background in a building related discipline with minimum 7 years’ experience.
- Demonstrated successful delivery of capital works programs, on time and to budget.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Demonstrated capacity to evaluate and manage external contractors.
- Proven commitment to WHS, with a specific focus on contractor management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop processes and procedures.
- Strong leadership skills and experience with people and program management.
- High level of written and oral communication skills with strong customer/client focus.
- Capacity to take initiative and be innovative in relation to process management.
- Sound conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in implementing systems within a property function across a multi-site organisation.
- Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Driver's licence and commitment to travel across sites as required.
- Understanding and alignment to BaptistCare’s mission and values.
