**About the role**

You will be instrumental in the development of project procurement strategies, and the execution of sourcing packages for major capital / construction projects. You will be adept at managing fast paced timelines, asking the right questions of internal and external stakeholders, and negotiating on price, scope, delivery timelines and terms, with a keen eye for value and risk. The position will form a key part of the Strategic Procurement team within a larger Supply team that is transforming the MinRes inbound Supply Chain.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (business, management, legal, commercial) - desirable
- Experienced in working within a commercial environment incorporating project / capital procurement and project delivery
- Minimum of 3-5 years working within working in Supply / Category / Contracts roles
- Demonstrated experience in partnering with internal stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with key client and supplier stakeholders that have resulted in high customer satisfaction
- Stakeholder engagement experience
- Ability to work as a member of, or lead, cross functional teams within a supply / procurement function and execute plans on time
- Negotiation skills, including the proven ability to plan a negotiation and execute the plan
- Well-developed communications skills, both verbal and written, including drafting strategies, presentations, and recommendations
- Experience in source to contract systems, procure to pay or category team (desirable)
- 3+ years of experience in recognised ERP, MS tool suite (desirable)
