**Role Overview**

Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Partner, you will be responsible for leading in implementing independent reviews on the effectiveness of key business controls as a dedicated 1st LoD function Additional responsibilities will include the following:

- Co-ordinate the monthly testing of controls, identifying control gaps in addition to recommending internal control improvements
- Manage the reporting of dashboards and control testing with relevant stakeholders
- Partner with internal and external audit on the planning of all audit and internal control activities
- Embed internal control best practice through education and awareness
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal leaders, auditors and risk practitioners (both domestically and globally)

**Skills & Experience**
- A tertiary qualification in law, accounting, finance, business, economics or related disciplines
- Worked in line 1 or 2 Risk and Audit in Financial Services and first tier consulting firm(s).
- Experience in designing and testing technology controls through internal control assurance, regulatory and/or internal audits.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and manage a wide variety of stakeholders, specifically in a line 1 or line 2 risk management role
- Experience in planning, collation, aggregation and facilitation of information and reporting (e.g. Risk assessments, control testing).
- Challenged the status quo and demonstrated an ability to grasp key concepts quickly.
