Trade Assistant

We are currently seeking a full-time trade assistant for a role within a Structural Steel workshop based in Gillman. Working 6am -2.30pm with Boilermakers. Your main duties will be,
- Preparing work
- Managing cleats
- Helping tradespeople with daily workflow

To be successful in the role you will need,
- A forklift license (preferred)
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a Trade assistant role
- Gantry Crane experience would be ideal but not essential
- Be able to work independently or within a team.
- Be safety minded.

In return we are offering a full-time permanent position as well as a good team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Working in a steel workshop: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- forklift truck (LF Class) (preferred)
