Your new opportunityAs an Assistant Under Treasurer, you will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of advice and analysis to support Government decision-making. You will manage multiple professional teams and advocate for the best policy outcomes for Government. Join our team and make a significant impact on the economic and fiscal performance of Queensland.
**In this role, you will**: - Provide authoritative advice, analysis, and guidance to senior management, including the Cabinet Budget Review Committee, on economic and fiscal matters.
- Lead change across the public sector to implement critical whole-of-government strategic initiatives. Represent Treasury in complex and sensitive negotiations and consultations with industry, Queensland Government agencies, other jurisdictions and stakeholders. Partner and collaborate with Queensland Government departments, agencies, industry and the community to drive innovation and achieve the Government's good jobs, better services, great lifestyle objectives

**What experience you will bring**: - Strong expertise in economic and fiscal matters. Proven leadership skills and experience in managing teams. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications will be are highly regarded.
