**About Us**
Adventure Ability Services is a leading **NDIS-registered provider** specialising in outdoor, activity-based programs for people with disabilities across Queensland.
Our mission is to create opportunities for individuals to participate in **sport, recreation, and adventure-based activities** that build confidence, independence, and community connection.
We collaborate closely with **physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, doctors, and other allied-health professionals** to design programs that improve functional outcomes, enhance physical and mental wellbeing, and empower participants to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

- **Participant Support & Daily Living**_
- Provide day-to-day assistance to participants in line with their NDIS plans (e.g. transport, personal care, meal preparation, and community access).
- Encourage independence, emotional wellbeing, and skill development.
- Support participants in therapeutic exercises and goal-driven routines.
- **Coaching & Mentoring**_
- Train and mentor other support workers in active-support techniques, safety, and participant engagement.
- Model best practices in behaviour management, communication, and fitness delivery.
- **Compliance & Administration**_
- Maintain accurate participant documentation, progress notes, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, WHS obligations, and organisational policies.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
**Skills & Experience Required**
- 1-2 years’ experience in disability support, recreation, or community-based program delivery.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Background in **sport coaching or personal training** (desirable).
- Understanding of allied-health collaboration and NDIS compliance.
- Current **First Aid & CPR Certification** (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent planning and documentation skills.
**Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements**
- **Certificate IV or higher** in Disability, Community Services, Sport & Recreation, or related field.
