**JOB: Disability Support Worker (Female)**

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated female support worker with driving capabilities to join our team. The support worker should have experience in handling kids with Special needs. This role involves providing support and assistance to individuals in need, and the ability to drive is essential for ensuring the well-being and mobility of our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Personal Care**: Assist with toileting, showering, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- **Daily Living Tasks**: Help with meal prep, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- **Social and Recreational Activities**: Support outings, events, sports, and hobbies.
- **Transportation**: Assist with appointments and provide transportation.
- **Health-Related Support**: Monitor health and provide basic medical care.
- **Emotional Support**: Listen and create a supportive environment.
- **Independent Living**: Provide training in cooking, cleaning, and finance management.
- **Medication**: Administer or assist with medication according to policies.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records, including daily logs and incident reports.
- **Monitoring and Reporting**: Report health changes and document support provided.
- **Collaboration**: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in support planning.
- **Training & Development**: Contribute to team meetings and ongoing training.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Certificate IV in Disability
- Certificate IV in Aged Care

**Security & Compliance Check**:

- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Driver's License and Comprehensive Car Insurance

**NDIS Learning Modules**:

- NDIS Worker's Orientation
- NDIS Induction
- Supporting Effective Communication
- Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals
- COVID19 Infection, Prevention, & Control
- Manual Handling

Additional Details:

- Willing to travel.
- Holds a valid Driver's License with a car.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
