**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join their team in Burwood. This is an estimated 3month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Working within the Housing, Homelessness and Disability Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative support services to enable the efficient operation and achieve organisational objectives

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver high level professional frontline customer service
- Mail distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
- Generate routine correspondence
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Gather and collate information to support informed decision making outcomes
- Prepare matters for hearing including arranging papers for committee members, notifying
- Preparation of documentation, presentation material and reports
- Monitor and action case management activities ensuring objectives are being met, escalating where required, reporting delays or obstacles
- Complete financial administrative duties
- Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

**About You**
- Administration or Business Support experience
- Previous experience working within a sensitive/complex environment advantageous
- Demonstrated Housing, Disability, Community or Social Services industry experience
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite

**Requirements**:

- Valid Working with Children’s Check and willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID Vaccinated or Medical exemption
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
