About the Role (Bilingual English & Chinese)Accounting Dept. plays a critical role in PIA by providing high-quality accounting as well as having the ability to multi-task in this fast paced environment.
The accounting department works closely with the operation administrative team to support our growing portfolio and performing sales team.
If you are a recent graduate with limited experience but with initiative & desire to achieve professional experience and exposure to the trust account area (or minimum 2 years' proven professional accounting experience for AA role), PIA is the right place for you to join.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Tenant bond lodgment
- Rental guarantee termination calculation and adjustments
- Owner/Tenant adjustments
- Compensation memo process and monthly Compensation Pool reconciliation
- Key cut invoice check and monthly reconciliation
- Monthly deposit holding forfeit reconcile and transfer
- Daily payment run and bill checking
- Responsible/Assist in end of month procedure
- Responsible/Assist in yearly trust account auditing
- Loss management auditing
1) Loss management reason verify;
2) Loss management case record taking;
3) Update bonus deduction decisions record;
4) Prepare monthly Loss Management Reports;
- Record petty cash payment and process reimbursement
- Other ad hoc tasks for Rental trust account.
- Support and work with Operation Admin team on monitoring relating work flows and regular reports preparation
About You: The ideal candidate will possess the following
- Fresh graduate for Clerk role, or minimum 2 years' proven relevant accounting experience for AA role
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Commerce or Business, major in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
- Skillful with MS Office and MYOB applications
- Business-level proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin (native preferred) is essential for effective communication with clients and stakeholders
- Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible visa holder)
- Adapt to fast-paced environment with eyes for details and can-do attitude
- Work well in a team and also be able to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
Background of the role
With 6000+ properties under management, our Property Management portfolio spans the Sydney Metropolitan region and is growing at a steady rate.
Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager and the Accounting Manager, the Trust Account Accounting Clerk/AA will be responsible for ensuring that all trust money for each client and in respect of each transaction for that client can be accurately accounted for at all times. This role also works closely with the Operation Admin team to monitor relating work emails receipt and replies as well as relating reports preparation and auditing.
This includes daily bank reconciliation, and daily processing and disbursement of all incoming and outgoing trust monies together with the statutory end of month requirements, end of financial year reporting and assistance with auditors as required.
