**Job Description**:
Are you an emerging leader in a structural steel fabrication environment looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Leading Hand, working alongside our Workshop Supervisor.

As a Leading Hand collaborating with the Workshop Supervisor, your crucial responsibility will be to guarantee the welding quality meets the necessary standards, satisfies customer demands and specifications, and follows safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will coordinate the workshop team's tasks and supervise the prompt and efficient completion of projects.

You'll have excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and mentor team members, working collaboratively with the Workshop Supervisor drive workshop targets. You'll be able to interpret engineering drawings and be proficient in the use of workshop machinery and tools.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have experience as a Leading Hand or similar role in a structural steel fabrication environment. You'll have a strong understanding of safety, quality, and productivity standards, and be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

- Trade qualification in welding or boilermaking
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand or similar leadership role in a structural steel fabrication environment
- Good understanding of safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Proficient in the use of workshop machinery and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
