**St Jude’s has been one of the more innovative and leading service providers for people with disability and psychosocial needs in Australia since 1982. In recent times, our organisation has been experiencing substantial growth as a direct result of the quality of the services we provide. Our significant experience in service delivery is reflected through 40 years of providing quality services and maintaining the highest of standards for our clients.**
**Role Summary**:
The role of the Domestic Support Worker is to provide domestic cleaning support to people who receive our services, either at accommodations run by St Jude's or at the home of the client.
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
You will be responsible for delivering all domestic duties outlined within the care plan of the client. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping and polishing floors, cleaning windows, removing rubbish, dusting of equipment, furniture and fixtures, cleaning toilets and bathrooms and replacing items such as toilet paper or paper towels. You'll also be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues or hazards that you identify.
**Skills, Attributes and Experience**:
**As well as the above, the Key Requirements include**:
- Rights to work in Australia.
- Valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle.
- Possess Working with Children Check or willing to obtain if required by the role.
- Previous relevant experience in the health/aged/disability sectors is highly desirable but not essential.
