A new permanent opportunity is currently available for a Cyber Security Advisor to join this highly reputable, and recognised Queensland Organisation based in Fortitude Valley Offices.

This role of the Cyber Security Advisor will be a key engagement into the Business as you will be heavily viewed as a conduit between the business and technical teams with recommendations on the Organisations Cyber Security recommendations

Further to this, the Advisor Cyber Security will provide advice to internal clients across the wider business in support of the identification, assessment and mitigation of cyber security risks.

The role will use their understanding of technologies and cyber security threats to provide multi-disciplined advice on cyber security across the organisation, defining security requirements and overseeing the architecture, design and implementation of cyber security controls.

The role will be involved in projects, vendor security assessments, risk management, technology resilience and compliance activities in both the information technology and operational technology domains.

To be considered for this role, we will be looking for an excellent communicator, who has demonstrated and substantial experience together with comprehensive cyber related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level.

**Your technical capability and professional experience will also focus on the below;**
- Working knowledge of SOCI Act, ITIL, privacy legislation, ISO2700x, NIST CSF and IEC 62443.
- Experience of planning, managing and organising resources within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
- Exceptional communication skills to deliver the right information and message to your key stakeholders
- Approachability and competency to identify potential stakeholders, analyse their expectations, and develop strategies for managing stakeholders and their expectations.
