**About us**:
The Scaffidi Group manages pharmacies across Australia including Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane and rural and regional sites in SA, NT, QLD and VIC.

A number of South Australian and Northern Territory pharmacies under Scaffidi Group management deliver medicines and pharmacy services to remote Aboriginal Health Clinics throughout the Northern Territory, far north South Australia and into Western Australia.

The Scaffidi Group is committed to working with the Aboriginal Controlled Health Organisations and the Northern Territory Department of Health to deliver culturally responsive, pharmacy services in a client-centric approach.

**About the Position**:
An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a full time Pharmacist or other Health Professional to lead the review and further development of our Indigenous Health Strategy. Deliver on existing contracts and tender for new business.

The role offers unique and professionally rewarding experiences in Indigenous Health.

**General responsibilities of the position**:

- Further develop our Indigenous Health Strategy
- Management of current section 100 contracts
- Contract delivery
- Remote Health Clinic visitation
- Prepare future tenders for government and non-government contracts
- Working with the Pharmacy Managers in developing culturally responsive plans to service Aboriginal People

**About You**:

- Experience in Indigenous Health
- Passionate about ‘Closing the Gap’
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counselling, negotiating and report writing
- High level of initiative, integrity and work ethic
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
- Proven ability to read markets and facilitate change
- Flexibility to travel
- Knowledge of Australian health care standards and legislative frameworks (desirable)
- Previous experience with policy and procedure development in a health service (desirable)
