Well respected organisation based in Melbourne's CBD Fringe is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their supportive & collaborative team.
**The Company**
Robert Half is recruiting exclusively a permanent Payroll Officer role for a well-respected company that is both diversifying and growing.
This role will have you involved in the full function payroll process, undertake payroll compliance functions, improve systems & processes with the ability to work independently or within a team environment.

**The Role**
Working within an established team, taking ownership of the organisation's salaried payroll your duties will include:
- Processing Payroll
- Managing all payroll, employees and HR enquires
- Payroll compliance functions such as Superannuation, PAYG, Tax
- Understanding and interpretation relevant & awards
- Assist in Month end and year end reconciliations, Preparing & reporting monthly payroll & HR Reports
- Providing assistance with other finance duties when required
- Assist in system upgrades
- Strong experience in Preceda

**Your Profile**
To be successful you will have:
- Previous payroll experience including awards & statutory requirements
- Previous experience handling tax and superannuation matters
- Advance Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
- Strong reconciliation ability
- High attention to detail & proficiency with numbers
- Customer service orientation
- Analytical mind and ability to think laterally
