**The Role**
Within the Logistics Management function, Logistics Assurance Officer is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex logistics compliance and assurance work within an integrated workforce. They are accountable to have well developed understanding of and compliance to relevant legislative frameworks. Accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility.
They will be required to interpret and provide advice within the Logistics Management function area based on legislation, policy and procedures. Undertake technical research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessment and perform procedural, clerical, administrative support work to achieve results. Coordinate and contribute to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members, engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
**About our Team**
Deployed ICT Logistic Team is small and diverse with wealth of Logistic Knowledge. We conduct Fleet management, Procurement, Material Technical Data Tasks which include Codification/Cataloging and Complete Equipment Schedules. We work to provide Logistic support to the Deployed ICT for the ADF. We are matrix capability across the Directorate and report directly to Director on all matters within Logistics.
The role requires a background in supply chain process with good communication, Local Site Administration, stocktaking and interpersonal skills. You will have experience in policy interpretation and implementation of policy in a Supply Chain regime. The role requires skills in influencing people with an ability to influence outside your own area of control, through building and maintaining business relationships.
Knowledge of the current ADF Military Integrated Logistic Information System (MILIS), Excel and Outlook, training where possible will provided to the successful applicant if required. The successful applicant may be required to undertake both intra and interstate travel in the delivery of Quality Auditing against Supply Chain process. As such, they must hold a current drivers licence and be willing to drive, travel, or fly to assist in the delivery of LSA functions and programs accordingly.
