Warehouse Co-ordinator

Scintex is one of Australia's fastest growing machinery & equipment suppliers. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Warehouse coordinator to join our team located in Eagle Farm, Brisbane

**Job tasks and responsibilities**

The overall purpose of this role is to manage the efficient running of the warehouse to meet operational targets. In addition to this, you will be responsible for supporting the business through its exceptional growth phase by developing and executing strategic initiatives focused on maximising operational efficiencies. Key to the role will be training new warehouse staff and supervising existing staff.

**Key duties include**:

- Supervising warehouse staff to ensure operational timeframes are met.
- Creating an energetic, driven and passionate work environment and ensuring effective communication and team cohesion between all departments.
- Overseeing domestic and international customer orders on a daily basis to meet customer delivery timeframes.
- Organising inwards and dispatch operations
- Supervising warehouse staff to pick and pack orders to meet operational deadlines and branding guidelines.
- Recruiting new warehouse staff and training warehouse staff in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Being responsible for weekly rosters and ensuring the warehouse is appropriately staffed, particularly during key sale events throughout the year.
- Managing our returns process in line with policies and procedures.
- Managing full stock control process to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Problem solving and resolving any stock issues quickly and efficiently.
- Establishing new operational processes where required.
- Managing quality control and faulty stock process, including liaising with suppliers in a timely and sensitive manner.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships (eg Australia Post, Toll, DHL, TNT)
- Ensuring timely reviews are completed on the operational costs to ensure optimal financial outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety legislation / guidelines for self and staff at all times.
- Carrying out internal health and safety audits as and when requested.
- Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
- Office management including process improvements and general maintenance of office and dispatch stationery.
- Any other duties as required by Directors to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and dispatch process.

**Skills and experience**

We are looking for someone with:

- An exceptional work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to be a hands-on leader with the ability to lead and create a hard-working, harmonious team.
- At least two (2) years demonstrated experience in a management role in distribution / fulfilment operations, or retail / e-commerce operations.
- Passion and drive to provide a high level of customer service.
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Great computer literacy with prior experiencing the the Microsoft Office suite.

**Essential Requirements**
- Right to work permanently in Australia
- Fork Lift license

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
