You are also available to work a roster that includes morning, afternoon shifts, late nights and weekends.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Unit People & Culture Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring country People Strategy and principles/guidelines are executed operationally through the Unit business plan and other local initiatives.
- Acting as a business partner to senior leaders in the Unit and responsible for the execution of all People activities.
- Securing the Unit Competence and Development plan to ensure IKEA meets our customers with knowledgeable and competent co-workers.
- Leading and developing the Unit People and Culture team to provide an excellent co-worker experience in new and innovative ways.
- Influencing Unit Management Team to continuously develop local leadership capabilities within their function according to business needs.
TOGETHER AS A TEAM
Together the People & Culture team supports the delivery of the People & Culture Action Plan, People & Culture idea and the IKEA Business Operations by working in conjunction with all business functions and co-workers in store. With a key focus on IKEA co-workers, customers and the IKEA business, a pivotal role with this function lies in securing the co-worker experience, supporting leaders to ensure their teams are equipped with the knowledge and resources to create a better everyday life for the many people.
