We're seeking a casual **Therapy Assistant** to join our team of courageous multi-disciplinary clinicians dedicated to extraordinary care for people with a disability, at every stage of life.

**Your role**
- Focus on impact, with realistic billable targets, administration and scheduling support.
- Grow with us; work alongside skilled clinical leaders and embrace learning through mentorship, development days, research, conferences, and reflection.
- Follow your passion and unlock your potential with our team of 300+ allied health clinicians, including experts in areas such as assistive technology and neuro-affirming practice.
- We have **casual**position available from **February 2025, working 2 to 3 days per week**supporting clients in our lower southwest region, including **Manjimup, Bridgetown**and** Nannup.**
- As a **Therapy Assistant** you will work under the direction of allied health professionals in the identification of goals, development and implementation of appropriate strategies to achieve the desired outcomes for customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Participating in tasks related to the assessment of clients’ functioning under the direction of allied health professionals.
- Organise the therapy environment and equipment as requested by the therapy team.
- Create, adjust and maintain individualised client resources as requested by the allied health professional.
- Assist or carry out interventions with clients, individually and in groups, under instruction from allied health professionals.
- Ensure relevant staff are aware of any service delivery issues as soon as it becomes evident.
- Keep accurate records of client and support services as per the requirements of CRM and other reporting mechanisms.
- Be responsible for, understand and implement Therapy Focus Occupational Safety & Health procedures.
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health/Therapy Assistance or equivalent.
- Ability to build rapport easily and a personal interest to supporting people with disabilities and their support networks.
- Previous experience working with children or people with disability.
- High level planning and organisational skills to plan a program of activities within set guidelines.
- Ideally have previous experience working with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds
- Ideally have previous experience working under the NDIS framework within the disability support sector.
