Clinical Psychologist - Multisystemic Therapy Programme Salary: HSO Grade 1 $110,666 - $119,660 or Grade 2 $130,265 - $153,151 per annum pro rata Location: Perth Unit/Division: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services > Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Permanent - Full Time MST Allowance: an additional 11.57% of base salary. Recruitment Pool: Clinical Psychologist Registrars (Grade 1) & Clinical Psychologists (Grade 2) for fixed term appointments of 6 months, with possibility of extension or permanency. Role Overview As an MST Grade 1 Clinical Psychologist Registrar, you will deliver quality psychological care within the service, providing psychological assessments, evidence‑based interventions, and active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings. The role also offers potential progression to Grade 2 upon completion of a board‑approved supervised period of practice and endorsement by the Psychology Board of Australia / AHPRA. Key Responsibilities - Deliver individual, dyadic, group, clinic, and community‑based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and family therapy. - Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and family functioning. - Provide consultation, advice, and training on psychological matters to colleagues, internal and external stakeholders. - Engage in professional development and supervision toward full registration. - Maintain client records, comply with therapy and testing guidelines, and contribute to performance monitoring and improvement. - Participate in weekly supervision, performance monitoring, and applied clinical research. Additional Specifications - Role involves out‑reach work to client homes, including after‑hours; most out‑reach work is performed independently. - Comprehensive supervision and weekly oversight for all MST clinical work. Application Requirements - A copy of current CV outlining most recent and relevant work experience. - Evidence of current registration by the Psychology Board of Australia (essential criterion 1). - Written statement addressing Essential Criteria 2–7 per the Job Description Form (max 3 pages). - Evidence of a current and valid driver’s licence (essential criterion 8). - Indication of current Clinical Psychology registration status (Grade 1 registrar or fully registered Grade 2). - Contact details for two referees, including at least one direct line manager or supervisor.
