We are on the lookout for a new Trainee Sales Consultant to join the awesome team at Audi Burwood. This is an entry level position, ideal for someone who wants a challenge and is eager to take their first step into Sales in the Automotive industry. We will provide full training and hands-on exposure to a Dealership environment.

**Your key duties and **responsibilities** will include**:

- Engaging with customers on the telephone, online and face to face on the showroom floor
- Understanding and qualifying the customer’s automotive needs
- Vehicle demonstration and test drives
- Understanding and qualifying the customer’s needs
- Motor vehicle registration and government paperwork compliance
- Assisting with delivery coordination; presentation and preparation of vehicle, completing of paperwork and supporting the first-class customer experience
- Vehicle appraisals
- Preparation of vehicle quotes and understanding of the financing process

**What you need to succeed in the role**:

- Eager to learn sales and customer service skills and demonstrated ability to engage with customers in a professional manner
- Have a love of providing outstanding customer service
- Intermediate demonstrated computer skills including proficient use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office 365 (We don’t need you to know how to code, but you will use a number of different platforms and systems on a daily basis)
- Ability to become a mover and shaker in automotive sales - You will learn from the best in the industry, learning how to negotiate the best deals and remembering that every customer has potential
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a busy environment with the demonstrated ability to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A VIC driver's license is essential
- Previous experience in sales, retail or hospitality would be an advantage but not necessary
- Able to work full-time, 5 days per week across a Monday
- Saturday roster.
