**Location**: Dickson, ACT

The Technical Lead will have knowledge of and ensure compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and policy requirements. The Technical Lead will draw on well-developed system administration, architecture, and integration skills and experience in delivering complex software implementation projects to assist in providing detailed advice for the delivery of projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- The successful applicant will have experience in delivering complex ICT projects, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and be confident working both collaboratively and independently as required.
- Oversee planning, design, and delivery of major public projects with ICT elements ensuring effective governance, performance, risk, security, and compliance frameworks are implemented.
- Develop, manage, and maintain effective business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and provide advice on project correspondence, and technical project documentation including system architecture designs, plans, hardware specifications, and other technical documentation related to the project.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practice standards in fit-for-purpose design, architecture, and operation of customer-centric, service-oriented digital and ICT technology solutions, including integration of existing and new systems

**Technical skills/Qualifications**
- Experience delivering complex ICT projects with a focus on software implementation, infrastructure, ICT architecture, and platform integration, along with preparing and providing advice on project documentation and other complex written documentation.
- Highly developed ICT and Digital analytical, conceptual, research, and written communication skills, including developing ICT Strategies, operational plans, and business cases.
- Extensive ICT systems administration experience or qualifications are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of legislation, and regulations.
- An understanding of public transport or a similar field is highly desirable.
