**About this role**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the Salesforce and MuleSoft Development team and Testing team, managing the day to day operations of platform team including Jira tasking, triaging of emerging issues and supporting the release process.
- Lead the maintenance of the existing system and manage the sequence of development and release of multiple project streams across multiple environments.
- Develop, monitor, and manage the platform tasks and burndown charts, milestones and deliverables, in line with the overarching program plan.
- Contribute the technical design elements to the end-to-end design of digital services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Oversight technical management of a Salesforce platform by working collaboratively with other tech leads and multiple system integrators, ensuring alignment to architecture and security principles.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Demonstrated experience in leading the operations of IT systems, deployment approaches and automation, and utilisation of existing CICD tools (such as Azure DevOps, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins and similar).
- Experience in citizen-facing service delivery in a government setting.
- Experience in software development on a SAAS platform eg ServiceNow, Salesforce and Dynamics.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Source control systems and Continuous Delivery tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring technical developers.
- Experience and/or knowledge of modern Cloud based technology platforms is highly desirable.
