**About Us**:
Established in 1982, Alzheimer’s WA provides care, support, awareness and information to assist people living with dementia, as well as their families and carers.
- Our services include advocacy, education, partnerships, training, consultancy and holistic person-centred care programs, based on a philosophy of understanding the lived experiences of those living with dementia. We provide CHSP, HCP and NDIS packages and day/overnight respite in our four homes based in Perth, Mandurah and Albany.-
**Position Summary**:
Alzheimer's WA is seeking a support officer to join our team and provide critical administration support to assist in maintaining our RTO’s registration in accordance with the Australian Quality Skills Authority (AQTF) Standards. As the support officer, you will be responsible for a range of administrative duties that contribute to the overall smooth running of the Education & Consulting team.
- Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- provide holistic administration support to the Education & Consulting team including all projects and events, as required;
- update and maintain the RTO’s training calendar;
- maintain student records in line with the RTO requirements
- update and maintain the student management system (VETtrak), including data entry, production of student certificates and student bookings;
- assist with coordination of events (venue hire, catering arrangements etc.);
- organise invoices for payment in conjunction with the accounts department
- provide information to Marketing team for updating the AWA website to reflect accurate information on the RTO;
- record and distribute student assignment submissions to trainers;
- assist with student course enrolments, verification of past studies and maintaining records according to RTO standards;
- proofread materials as required by the Education team; and
- re-stock office stationery, ensure office equipment is maintained, and orders are placed to reflect department needs.

**Essential Criteria**:

- knowledge of the AQTF;
- experience working on VETtrak system in an RTO in an administrative or compliance role;
- demonstrated knowledge of working in a compliance framework;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- An ability to prioritise, monitor and coordinate workload to meet deadlines;
- Valid driver’s licence;
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia;
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (three doses); and
- Valid NDIS Check (or willing to get);

**Desirable Criteria**:

- experience working with people with dementia and their carers;
- Certificate IV in Education and Training; and
