**About the company**:
This is a fully owned Australian piling/ground engineering contractor who have been established for over thirty years and have operations throughout Australia. They are leaders in their sector and have the capability and expertise to deliver the most complex and challenging projects.

**About the Role**:
Actively seeking a Construction Manager to join the existing management team who will play a key part in taking the company to the next level. Reporting to the Owner of the company you will manage the contractual side of the business as well as getting involved in client development. Projects will consist of large scale multi-disciplined piling projects including CFA, Bored, Drive, piling, shoring and anchoring.

**About the Duties**:

- Report to the owner of the company
- Contract management & administration
- Work with Design/Tendering/Estimating teams
- Ensure clear communications with clients are maintained
- Offer sales support
- Subcontractor tender packages
- Payment claims & variations
- Price negotiations
- Liaise with existing & new clients
- Ensure all contracts are implemented according to Australian construction law
- Be able to react to changes or technical issues
- Attend site meetings
- Implement company procedures

**About the Requirements**:

- You a relevant civil engineering/construction qualifications
- Ideally have a piling/ground engineering background.
- Strong commercial skills
- Be skilled in Construction Law, negotiating projects & dispute resolutions
- Capability to control the administration, invoicing & profitability of projects.
- The ability to work with main clients and subcontractors
- Be happy working with commercial, design & operational teams.
- The ability to promote the company
- Comfortable liaising with clients, workforce & external suppliers
- Have excellent leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Be highly motivated
- The ability to strengthen existing client relationships & develop new ones
