**The Opportunity**
We have an excellent opportunity for a talented Quality professional based in our Wyong site to build and grow their career with this dynamic role.
Reporting to Site Operations Manager, you will effectively maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities in line with achieving the results required by the business, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. You will support continuous improvement of the plant by improving systems and processes used for production and planning, in addition to the main functions of:
- Overseeing inspection and examination of incoming materials
- Lead and coach a team of three
- Monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes for their effectiveness
- Manage and motivate a team of Quality Technicians to achieve the best results
- Conduct investigations into failed batches and oversee product recalls
**What you will bring and develop**
You are a focused, ambitious, and energetic professional with some experience working in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your consultative approach, ability to connect with diverse stakeholders, and collaborative work style will see you succeed in this role.
The Quality Supervisor is a pivotal, highly influential member of the site with the ability to provide a tremendous impact on the site’s operational performance and culture.
Other key skills and experience include:
- Tertiary qualification in Science / Engineering or related field
- Experience in manufacturing supply chain environments including planning and purchasing
- Team leading experience is desired
- Some Experience of working on SAP/ ERP and MS Office Suite is highly regarded be beneficial not required.
- Experience of ISO9001 standard would be ideal
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Look after safety requirements that exist within the lab
