**The Role**:
Excellent opportunities have arisen for an experienced All Rounder Catering Assistant - Casual Position available) to join one of the fastest growing catering companies in Australia. The key to our success is our people. Your role in this environment is to provide friendly, attentive and efficient service to our valued customers through the cooking of a variety of meals, preparation of ingredients and food service.
This position is hands-on requiring you to help prepare and serve meals for our valued customers at this busy Private school.
**Roster**:
20 to 40 hours per week
Five days over seven - During School Term Time
- You will have availability to work Monday thru Friday and weekends

**What This Role Involves**:
Plating and serving meals to our customers
Friendly customer service
Serving customers in our cafe
Washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining kitchen & dining areas
Assisting with food preparation e.g. peeling/chopping vegetables, making sandwiches & salads
Assisting with preparation and service of functions and conferences
Maintaining food hygiene, security and safety practices
**Skills and Experiences**:
Previous experience in a busy cafe/kitchen environment
Full drivers License required
Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations and service
Ability to organise work with other team members and take direction
Reliability and availability for various days and hours
Motivated and enthusiastic, a team player
First class food safety practices
Ability to comply with OH&S and food safety practices
Ability to work in a fast paced environment during peak service periods
**Please note**: successful applicants will be required to undergo a Working with Children Check before commencing and be fully covid vaccinated.
