Payroll Project Officer

**The Role**
This newly created fixed-term position will support our growing organisation across Queensland on all matters relating to payroll. You’ll be responsible for:
- Undertake payroll process review
- Review of large sets of payroll and timesheet data for accuracy
- Test and configure payroll functionality in the system ensuring database integrity is maintained
- Provide support to the Senior Project Payroll Officer and Financial Controller
- Supporting the business as usual payroll team where required
- Assisting with ad-hoc activities and related projects within payroll function
**To be eligible for this position you will require**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Advance payroll analysis and transaction reporting skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently learn new system/procedures
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- High level of customer service skills to support both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated intermediate/advanced ability to use IT systems including financial systems and Microsoft Office ( Strong Excel skills).
- Ability to obtain positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Disability Services (Yellow Card), and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
