**About Us**
At Fonterra Australia, we are a leader in the dairy industry, committed to delivering top-quality products and reliable product information. Join our team in Richmond as a Specification Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting our sales, new product development, and manufacturing operations by distributing accurate and compliant product documentation.
**Your Purpose**
As a Specification Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to manage data availability through document control and publication of product specifications to Fonterra’s Australian Sharepoint. The role is fast paced, requires an eye for detail and will involve routine data entry and publication of product documentation. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and consistency of product data created by our Technical Team across the business, ensuring it is accurate and available.
Key responsibilities:
- Publish and maintain product information documents created by our Technical Teams such as PIFs, product bulletins, supplier documents and declarations for new and existing products.
- Perform regular, detailed data entry to ensure information accuracy and alignment across specifications.
- Assist the NPD team with the development and publication of their new existing product specifications, requiring thorough documentation and data entry.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, to address product information needs and ensure supplied documentation meets regulatory and customer expectations.
- Maintain data organization, archiving, and structured filing in accordance with Fonterra's policies. This involves continuous data entry on version control and administrative upkeep for traceability.
- Ensure specifications and product information complies with regulatory standards and internal policies, with careful attention to detail in data entry.
**Note**: This is a specification administrative support role and is not involved in product development.
**About You**
We are looking for a motivated professional with a prior background in food technology or manufacturing industry with strong attention to detail, an ability to manage competing priorities and complete repetitive data-focused tasks efficiently. Ideally you have the following skills:
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or Technology highly regarded.
- At least 2 years in the dairy/food industry, with experience in food safety and quality systems highly desirable.
- Tech savvy with**proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneNote; familiarity with food regulatory compliance documentation including AFGC PIFs, Hamilton Grant software experience is a plus.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, and a high level of comfort with administrative and data entry tasks.
