About The Role
The people that you will come in to contact with will include external stakeholders, clients and staff, all of whom will need to always feel as if they are being listened to and supported.
**Duties Include**:
- Providing support to the team by preparing and copying documentation, booking meeting and training rooms, scheduling, setting up video conferencing, receiving all incoming communications and forwarding to the appropriate person/department etc.
- Providing a high level of customer service assistance by welcoming and liaising with SSI staff, clients and external stakeholders on a daily basis
- Preparing data reports and other information as needed that monitor clients and visitors to the office
- Ordering and organising stationery, catering and other required supplies
- Maintaining a high standard of records that complies with all regulatory requirements
- Being available to cover FDO’s and annual leave at either office, as required, to ensure that there is always support within the office
- General tidying and housekeeping of the kitchen and office area, with awareness of WHS standards
- Maintaining office maintenance and repairs
About You
You will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, this will be for our clients and customers that call or visit the office as well as the support you give administratively to the operations and administration teams.
Have you been volunteering or are currently an SLA for SSI in some capacity and would like an opportunity to have a more committed role with us? This 12 month contract is perfect for you As we are seeking someone who has previously worked with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
So, if you possess experience in a similar administrative role and have well developed MS Office skills plus that all important customer service ethic. We would be interested to hear from you.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Administration, Office support and Reception
- Well-developed MS Office skills (intermediate level required)
- Excellent customer service & interpersonal skills
- Well-developed analytical and organisational skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality of client and SSI records
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic experience in video conferencing set up and trouble-shooting
- Flexible to work between offices - Parramatta & Ashfield
- Reliable, punctual and have a can-do attitude
- Support team by performing tasks related to organization
- Experience in placing catering order and assisting in events
