**THE OPPORTUNITY**

As a Technical Support Officer you will be a part of an exciting program of work to provide specialist technical support for customer and employees on our standalone power system products. You will play a critical role in the delivery of contracts and work closely with our teams to solve problems ensure effective project outcomes.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**

In this key role you will:

- Provide guidance and support on standalone power system product development;
- Prepare designs, drawings, plans and specifications for each project as required;
- Undertake technical specification reviews and resolve non-conformances as required;
- Participate in customer and contractor meetings and lead the resolution of technical issues;
- Be the project technical interface with project subcontractors and suppliers as necessary;
- Provide guidance and relevant technical information on time to the project team, management and site installation teams;
- Provide technical support and design initiative to assist the estimating, engineering and production teams;
- From time to time visit site to undertake inspections, testing and customer / contractor meetings.

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

Your electrical background (trade/degree qualified or equivalent practical experience) and strong technical capability will be complemented by:

- Demonstrated experience in resolving technical problems;
- Effective customer relationship management;
- Experience working on solar power installation and design projects will be highly regarded;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
